PUMA vs. UA Youtube (Round 3)

PUMA Subscribers – 234,790
Observing PUMA’s Youtube channel, I went to their playlists and noticed that they have a variety like:
·       PUMA Sportstyle
·       PUMA x The Weeknd
·       PUMA Football | We are THE Arsenal
·       PUMA Women | #DoYou
With all these channels, subscribers and non-subscribers can really focus on what they want to watch with a simple click on the playlist tab.
PUMA’s recent posts were videos on sports, dance videos, and celebrities. They post approximately 2 posts a week leaving subscribers on their toes for the next video.
A popular video that PUMA has posted is called “SS18 FENTY PUMA by Rihanna Runway Highlights” which is a video of Rihanna helping out models with their dresses before they hit the runway! This video got 17,899 views with 139 likes, and 24 dislikes.

Under Armour subscribers – 156, 613
Under Armour Playlists consist of:
·       UA Basketball | Shoot Your Shot
·       UA RUN | WE WILL
·       Under Armour Global Football – Slay Your Next Giant
·       Under Armour | Maitre de vous-meme
Under Armour’s playlist is very broad! From sports to interviews to French videos. Great for subscribers or viewers that are not from North America! I love how UA doesn’t just focus on English, but tries to broaden their field and adding videos in different languages, but also, videos of athletes and celebrities from differen countries. This definitely sets them apart from PUMA. +1 for UA!
UA does not upload videos very often. Looking at their videos, they upload approximately 4x a month on the other hand, PUMA posts approximately twice a week! You decide!

UA’s most popular video got a high 1,992,976 views, 306 likes, and 7 dislikes! Great video, UA!

Calling All Creators
#ComeAsYouAre

Adidas posts 30 sec to 1:15 min videos on youtube roughly 4 times per month. These videos present new types of shoe models in a range of subcategories such as golf, hockey rock-climbing and extreme weather running while maintaining constant themes seen on multiple platforms; #HereToCreate and #CallingAllCreators. This account has links in the description to all of the social media platforms discussed within this blog which contributes to a strong social media presence .
The most successful post on this platform for Adidas is a #HereToCreate video centered around some of the best football players in the world. This video has 22,413,573 views,4K Likes. This video was successful due to is very catchy soundtrack, production value and star power. Keeping the videos short and sweet while maintaining high production value in the reason why Adidas is very strong within this platform.

Crocs not posted anything on this platform for 7 months. However, their most recent posts are thirty second clips using the same spokespeople seen on other platforms; Drew Barrymore, John Cena and Henry Lau discussing their positive self-image campaign which falls in line with other posts on other croc platforms. These videos are all interviews with medium production value at best. The 50/50 is not evident as all videos are shot in the same style talking about the same promotional theme.
Their top video is the Come as you are Manifesto focusing on the #ComeAsYouAre theme featuring the celebrity line up, achieving 31,375 views, 0 likes and 28 comments.

This video by tens of thousands of likes is their best video however it failed to set the tone for the channel due to a lack of keywording in the description and Multiplatform links.
